whelping time is near. We have moved Gunner into her whelping box and kennel in the garage, so that she can get comfortable. We always 'plan' to whelp the pups in the garage but ultimately all our pup's have been whelped on the our living room floor and then are moved to the garage. I'm expecting pup's by mid week and will be really surprised if she goes into late next week. The Blog is now online

Hello everyone-
We have decided to create this blog to allow our friends, puppy owners, family and others to follow along with the events here at the kennel. We are anxiously awaiting conformation that Gunner is in fact pregnant. We  had to successful ties with Leopold vom Tapfer Herzen between Jan 16 and 20th. We will be updating this blog and the web page as soon as we confirm pup's. We are also preparing her to complete the BTR test in bout 2 weeks. This test is designed to test the reliability of the dogs retrieving skills. We have been training a couple of times a week the last three weeks and Gunner is nailing the forest work with ease, she is carrying the fox through the timber with grace and dignity. We are very excited about her completing this phase of her training. Her is a picture of Gunner from last weekend
